KIWIE X PASTS

Right before heading out on his Asia tour, Grandpa managed to squeeze in one last project - a custom painted PASTS parcel locker. He’d been sending letters to PASTS about this idea for at least a year, and finally, they responded. Grandpa’s idea was simple: turn an ordinary parcel locker into a bunch of hungry KIWIE monsters, so every time someone sends a parcel, it looks like they’re feeding them. The whole locker was primed before painting and varnished afterwards to protect the artwork from everything, so that the Latvian weather and daily parcel traffic can throw at it.
And PASTS took it one step further. They even put a short video on the massive LED screen right above the locker, featuring a gigantic Grandpa painting the whole thing. Of course, we filmed the whole process. Watch the video here. And if you’re in Riga, go see it in person at Vaidoņes Street 2.
